We had a great Town Hall on Saturday, March 6th to discuss the financial state of the State. Here are the Presentations:

  • Rep. Tina Kotek's presentation on the Oregon budget can be found here.

  • Jules presented on Oregon's Revenue structure and how it has changed over time.

  • Tom Potiowsky is the State Economist of Oregon. His presentation covered an economic review and forecast of Oregon.






  • Rep. Bailey attended the Sustainable Industries Economic Forum this September and was deeply impressed by Paul Hawken's presentation.





    Energy Efficiency Resources

    The following is a list of resources for further information on energy conservation, retrofit financing, and implementation models.
    The Energy Trust of Oregon is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Oregonians benefit from saving energy and tapping renewable resources.
    Clean Energy Works Portland is a pilot program that will help up to 500 qualified Portland homes finance and install energy efficiency upgrades.
    ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.
    The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing energy efficiency as a means of promoting economic prosperity, energy security, and environmental protection.

Meet Jules Bailey

Jules Bailey has represented District 42 in the Oregon State House since 2008. Jules serves on the Revenue Committee, Sustainability and Economic Development, Environment and Water, and Oregon Fujian Sister State Committees.

Jules is a native of Portland who studied Environmental Studies and International Affairs at Lewis & Clark.
